Swimmer’s Ear, also known as Otitis Externa, is an infection in the outer ear canal. The most common cause of this infection is trapped water in your ear, for example after swimming or diving, aiding bacterial growth. It can also be caused by cotton swabs or other objects in your ear that damage the skin in the ear canal.
